Quick update for everyone on this. I had a good insurance policy setup and they have paid out. I had 75k on the boat and 5k on fishing tackle. 5k on the tackle was not NEARLY enough but that is on me. (don't let it be you) The boat was a brand new 2017 and I got it for a great price and that is why I put the agreed value policy at 75k. What I did not consider is what a new fully loaded 2019 Phoenix 21 PHX would cost including CA taxes and freight. I thought about getting used but I ended up ordering a Falcon F215 instead. I love having "different" things and I don't think I will see many other Falcons for awhile in California so we will see how it is. I loved my 921 for it's ride and fishability so I may end up back in a Phoenix again. Hopefully you won't mind me hanging around here and reading about Phoenixes.

I will admit that in the last few days there have been some very nice 2018's posting on the for sales boards here at BBC that made me question my decision but my deposit was already sent... (that 920 with the Verado looked PERFECT with all the options I wanted) I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and best wishes. It helped a lot. I was very tempted to get back in a Phoenix because of this community and how they had treated me but we all have to follow our gut decisions.

Right on man. Glad you’re getting into a new rig. Falcon boats have super awesome features too!

Glad to hear you got taken care of. I saw where you ordered the 215. The falcons seem to be gaining some popularity. I'm very interested to hear how they compare to ypur phoenix

Be nice to hear your thoughts between the boats since the falcon is supposed to be a copy cat of a bird. I don’t think anyone has gone from Phoenix to falcon in the bbc world so you will beable to tell us how they actually are. It pays to have a good insurance company. I deal with boat us and they have been great to me so far.

I feel bad for you and I hate people like that , I hope your insurance company takes care of you and don’t let your next boat leave your site sleep in it .

Awesome news! I'm sure you'll be happy with new boat. Been asking a lot about Falcons myself.

You won’t regret that 215. I drew a guy with one as a coangler at an Open and it would flat out run, and really rode and fished terrific. It’s very comparable to the 921 PHX and 2-3 mph faster. You’ve got good taste in boats lol.
