Axiom, Where does the mapping card go?

Ordered a 9" axiom that came with Navionics+ mapping card. Only thing I can find on the back of the unit is a very small slot, mapping card doesn't fit... Is there a secret compartment somewhere that I'm missing?

In the back. There is a black rubber cover in the middle of the unit. It is a strip that runs width wise. You lift up on the short side of the strip.

I lifted that rubber piece and the slot is much smaller than my mapping card?

The Navionics SD map card is actually an adapter. If you look closely there is a microSD card slid in the end of the Navionics card. Mine is a small black card. Pull the microSD card out of the Navionics card and that will fit the Axiom.

Navionics cards are made this way so they will fit different brands.
