Dog? Try Laquinta Airport that is off Elm Hill Pike and Briley Blvd. Just off I-40 out by the airport.

Nashville has gone so high fashion that even old properties have doubled prices. There may be some hotels in Music City Drive down the street from Opryland Hotel that might work for you though.

My cousin is general manager of a big hotel out by Vanderbilt, and rooms there run $260 to $330 depending on what's going on. Nashville is a really happening place now.

Although I live 2 hrs. away, we seldom get up there since selling the old family house.

For the hockey game? Are you wanting to stay downtown? Places like goodlettsville are 10 miles out and traffic will be light on Sunday.

Those prices are outrageous! What about suggestions of campgrounds close by? I may just consider that when I go there. Thanks

Stayed in Franklin at LaQuinta for $73. Pet friendly and worked fine.

Nashville has some of the highest average hotel rates in the country. As several have said, try something outside of Metro Nashville.

Depends on which direction you are coming from and to. Franklin is good. Murfreesboro is good. Mt. Juliet is pricey on their limited hotels, but Lebanon might be okay.
