    Guy's are pretty tight lipped.

It is fishing tough right now. We had a club tournament out of there last month. Out of 17 people, only 4 limits. A lot of zeroes.

    14 lbs won it

These results could be due to the style of fishing these old timers do. They are all bank beaters and do not fish a lot of open water.

    Wishin' I was fishin'...

I fished it a week ago and did great! I was throwing a 3/4 oz vibrating jig In about 10 feet deep around grass.

They're really good, I started with one, liked it so much I swapped all my rods over to them

Disappoint? I'm ecstatic there's a Central FL. body of water north of Orlando with grass in it.. That it's in more than a foot of water is bliss!! Of course, the FWC will get wind and send in divers or something to kill it.

Actually, they’ve got the tool. Using it here locally for offshore vegetation.
It’s a huge Carolina Skiff with a massive tank of juice onboard.
They drag an array of hoses over the sides, getting the death down deep.
If you’ll post a little more information, they can be there sooner.

I found a few giants offshore but it’s usually hit or miss getting them to bite but when they do it’s giants. Caught. 7,6,8 in 15 minuets last week. After that everything offshore shit down for me in three key areas. I’ve caught a few in the eel grass/hydrilla out of Haines creek.

These rods are 38 dd's I put a new 13Fishing™ OriginC "Bill White" and the combo is 'Top Shelf' Now if I ever 'need' to replenish the copious rods, I'm headed NEON GREEN
