Roy, Please Stay Around as Moderator Comments Open

I will make this short and sweet....

I want to start a thread and say my piece about Roy's value to our forum and that if he will stay around I will give my word to do all I can to make his job easier. Roy, if you need anything from me, just PM me and you'll get it. There is somebody else shooting for your moderator job and I figure trying to get you to resign. Please don't. I respect you and your knowledge and hope you give it some thought. We disagree on some boat stuff but I respect you .....Thanks for you past work.

There is someone who needs to leave and it is not Roy. Losing him will be a big loss to the site.

    Roy,
You bring a lot of value to this forum and I would not want you to leave. You don't need to make a decision out of frustration and anger -- You are a bigger man than that.

Roy is certainly not a problem. He brings nothing but value to this forum. Frankly the BS that has popped up the last couple of weeks is disrespectful to him.

I hope he stays, I scoured the web for a while after I got my boat last July and this seemed like the place for me. His posts and the information he has shared here had a lot to do with that.

It would be a shame to see Roy go. He has helped many here including me.

The derailment on every thread has got ridiculous. Roy is not the problem.

Must have missed the drama, but, I agree. Everything I've read from Roy has been helpful.
