    Monroe-Allen Creek ramp

Is the Allen creek ramp accessible in this high water? Wanting to take my 9 year old crappie fishing in that area and would like to stay off the main lake. Thanks

Slim, It might be usable but I am sure the ramp is underwater, but the road going to it is really steep. Moores is probably the closet but you have to shoot across the lake. When do you plan to come down? I might be able to go check it out for you.

Travis, i would have used Allen's Creek. Even in 2008 when water was going over the spillway you could still launch there, I did. That's why I asked if the road was closed, that would be the only reason you couldn't use it.

Yes it is open and the road to it is open. Actually launch from road leading down to the ramp. It is as steep as the ramp.

The new ramp at Fairfax is another option as well when the water is high.
