    Cold front fish......

Found this one along with some more after the cold front swept in today and brought colder weather and rain. Fishing was a lot better than expected despite conditions. They still ate a frog so life is good......

Nice. We fished Pines this morning and the bite was better than I expected. We caught 12 on spinner bait, chatter and junebug finesse worms.

Great fish...If you want more fish and less face in your pictures, try using the selfie camera on your phone with voice activation.

Thanks for the heads up. On this picture though I purposely held the fish close to my body. Did not want to "long arm" it.

I’ve found that the fishing is usually great as the front is pushing through. It’s the bluebird skies and high pressure post frontal that’s the killer. At least in Texas I imagine a cold front means the weather is still in the 70s!

Nope...its 52ish right now. South Texas maybe it sin the 70s but its been a really cooler than average spring. We have had more days below 70 thes last few weeks than I can recall.

Nahhhh....I'll pass. Feels a LOT better being lighter....well except when its cold......

I want to hang around on this old rock as long as I can. Got a lot of fishing to do yet and a lot of memories to make. If being a little cold is all it is I will take being healthy and fit any day.

Ever since I got my Ultrex 3 months ago I have been fishing post frontal bluebird days with high North winds and have been catching some nice fish and numbers. Even better is the fact that most people stay home on bluebird high wind days and the Ultrex allows me to go out and fish on days and spots I never could before.

Yeah I found that long arming really distorts the actual size of the fish, so I started adding the weight to the picture so I could tell what size they were (previous post edited to show weight added). I long arm so I can fill the screen without having to move from where I am sitting (cause I am lazy).
