    Solix chart blurry

I have a lakemaster card in my main Solix 15, networked to my second Solix 15.

Sometimes the map on the second unit is perfect and sometimes it's just a blur with no depth contours.

Mine was doing the same thing and I couldn't figure it out. I got tired of trying and finally just got a second map card. Sucks because the map sharing is one of the reasons I bought Solix's in the 1st place.

After plasma800 tries what I sent in a PM, he can post if it works.

I have seen the same occurrence between SOLIX and ONIX. I don't link mine often.

What did you do to resolve it?

i restored defaults on both units while not connected to the network and then reconfigured the network from scratch

I had this happen once with my Onix units and restoring defaults and re-establishing the network resolved the problem also.

Ok so today the problem occurred at first turn on.

I pulled the card and reinserted and that fixed the problem this time. But the first time I went Into standby on my main unit, the problem returned and removing the card never fixed it for the rest of the day.

It's a bit aggravating, especially considering the cost of these units.

But maybe I should do exactly that, default them and start over.

I'd turn the unit off before removing the card, unless you have it write-protected. It could get corrupted.

I keep my map cards locked except the Auto Chart Zero Line card when I want to write data to it.

    Bear claws or apple fritters.

More over I was interested in the original advisor seeing that post and correcting me, which he did

I'll triple check my card is locked before doing that again.

I'll be at bass pro this weekend, I suppose I'll buy a second card.

Way point sharing though is working fine regardless. I'm curious to discover if it's possible to still keep them linked but each unit use it's own map card or if when. They are linked each unit will only use one or the other

I meant to imply that I wanted to know exactly what 'they' told you, and who 'they' are... sigh.
