Headed to Grand Lake Thursday morning. Going to compete against the best.Meeting up with old fishing friend from Olathe Ks. Bass Club. Will spend 3 nights. Bass elite tournament. Watch the take offs, watch the weigh in's, the little expo, do some fishing, just driving around looking at the lake, good eats and a few drinks. Staying at Honey Creek Motel. Looks like good weather. Any one else going?
I would but I got a tournament Saturday, nice area over there(for Oklahoma)

Had a great time. Didn't catch many fish but did catch a boat. HA Wasn't paying attention and the wind nearly blew the boat onto the bank. Had to jump out to push it off. Boat was OK but I slipped down and got soaked. Was colder than a polar bears a-hole. Was fun to see KVD win his 25th tx. Weather was good. Met some nice Okie's. Had another good road trip with a good friend.
amazing how cold 60 degree water can be.
