I do, no electric at cabin on top of mountain, had a nice igloo but it was 2 days then water. Have an RTIC, we go for a week, and don't have to go to town for ice. That couple bags of ice turns into 10 gallons of gas to get it. So the RTIC fit the need.

I feel so left out! I do not own a Yeti anything, no Costa glasses, no stickers on my vehicle and I do not even have a fishing Jersey. I guess I am just not destined to be one of the cool guys!

Actually, I have a 50qt Yeti and if you put it in the sun it will only hold ice for about 36 hours and most of that is already melted. They make these blocks called Arctic Ice, but a 5lb block is like $40.00 each and for a 50qt they recommend three. I've been told if you use those it will hold ice longer, but that is just way too much money to spend for some cold water. I'm glad my Yeti came with my boat, since there would be no way I would spend $400 for a cooler. Anyways, the Pelican brand coolers look to be way better quality and much stronger built.

Most don't, some do. I surf fish a week at a time on the south outer banks. No stores, roads, houses, nothing. There do sell ice at the Ranger station but it's 21 miles from the south end and are often out of ice so ice can become critical to keep your food cold. The yetis, pelicans, and Engels we have fit the bill.
