    My Ultrex cable management solution

Used corrugated cable conduit to house cables.

Fabricated a loom to guide conduit.

Routed cable over main housing and down arm.

And into fabricated loom to guide conduit in from transducer and trolling motor and out to finder and Hydro Wave.

Nice job! I did the same. (yours looks better) I liked how changing the overall diameter keeps the wires from being pinched when stowing and deploying the motor!

Yes, with the corrugated conduit, the cable manages well and stays away from pinching in the arm movement. I'll get some pics with it deployed on the water. My trailer has a step that prevents the trolling motor from fully deploying.

So I asked this in another thread. Everyone buying the top of the line trolling motor is going to mount a transducer. Add to that the link cable. WHY is there no cable management system included on any trolling motor? No clips on shafts, no routing looms, no cable covers. This is about $10 worth of material (and a bit of handy work). Why does everyone have to come up with their own solution?

Just picked up at the hardware store. Conduit and grommets in electrical. I believe the outside diameter of the conduit and the inside diameter of the grommet is 5/8. I picked up the Humminbird network cable at the head and include it in the conduit as it routes down the arm.

This is what I did - most of this came from suggestions and photos here on BBC

The "P-CLIP" is 3 sizes larger than the cable to allow the cable to flex when moving and just to keep it out of the mount and getting pinched
You need to buy a longer screw and a large washer and works great

The question all should be asking right here!
