I am not a fan of the added Flare on these boats at high speed. Even my Hydromotive X-O/B's handle better and run faster without the added stern lift from the flare.

The added flare was supposed to help with the hole shot flare to 5100. I didnt see a change. The midrange of the promax is hard to beat. Maybe by next weekend the river will be flushed out. Its supposed to go to 10 ft over normal pool. 12 mph current that will help with the quest for 90 mph.

I think it's possibly worse on the Prosport..... I don't have one on the 28.. the holeshot is ok... once you get used to it you can kinda help it break over... and then seeeyaaa...

Without a doubt, the Promax midrange is very nice.

Here is some testing I did this morning with a 27 Promax. It has the Trophy blowout ring and 8 fully opened PVS holes. I am now running 11.5" setback and only tested at 1/2" above pad as the limiter kicks in early and often. It jumps to 5500 and no flash or over-rev just launches and goes.

What pitch is the Bravo you might want to sell? It looks like your boat is on plane in about half the time mine is with the Promax prop. I need to get that foil on before I go to the water next time.

It is a bone stock 28 Bravo XS with 8 pvs holes. It launches my boat really well just lacks the midrange the Promax has. I drove it all day Sunday on a 60+ mile river/lake run and it does do a good job with a load. I mainly use it for 3-4 person loads which I rarely run. Holeshot time on it is a touch quicker than the prop in the video. I have ran the Bravo up to 86.xx with both my 2.5XS 1.87 combo and my 250 1.75 combo.
