I need a parts list to replace the upper motor mounts.

I have already decided to use Bob's Machine solid mounts. I have installed them on a 2001 Mercury 225 EFI.

I know, but they are broken.

I'm going with solids.

I was looking for recommended parts list to do the job.

I know I will need powerhead base gasket, just wasn't sure of the little trink it parts to complete the job.

I NEED THE INFO ON THE XS PLATES YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!

I need to order the parts. I'm going to order Bob's SOLIDS if I don't get any info on those XS PLATES!!!

My motor is a XS racing with HARDENED upper motor mounts!
They are obviously busted, 2" of movement by pulling forward and aft on top of motor.

I was looking for a parts list of everything I need to order to complete this job.

Obviously upper mounts and powerhead base gasket BUT WHATELSE????

I know it had RIGID MOUNTS, they are busted!

Since everyone was posting AMEN to XS PLATES I wanted to know WTF they were!

I'M going with SOLID ALUMINUM Bob's Machine mounts.

I was looking for a list of parts that I will need when lifting the powerhead off the mid section to get at the upper mounts.

EXAMPLE: power head base gasket, radius zip ties, or any other parts.

I have completed a solid upper motor mount job on an older motor, never did it on an Optimax and it is well out of warranty.

You have an XS, so you already have the XS adapter plate that Joe54 is talking about. The mount system on the XS is not the same as the EFI, that you did, but having said that you will need the same gaskets and zip ties that you used when you changed mounts on your EFI.
