    Cobra 188 Set Up

I am going to be putting a new to me engine on my cobra 188 this week. I am putting a 200 hp Yamaha pro-v. Any advice on what height to start with on the engine. It has a 25 pitch tempest on it now. I have a manual jack-plate, but just looking for a good starting point. Thanks in advance for any help. I am excited to wake this boat up a little, I am upgrading from an older 150hp evinrude. Any guesses to what speeds I should be able to reach.

I'd love to have 200 on mine. I'd start by running the new motor where the old one was/is and go from there keeping an eye on the water pressure and RPM.

That's about the best I've seen with my boat empty too. 56 -57 is what I get carrying around my fat butt and tackle store.
