If I have a 200 horsepower Evinrude ficht from 2000, would I be able to swap on a 250 horsepower ffi engine from 2003. My problem is the 2003 has a 25 inch shaft and my 2000 has a 20 inch shaft, so can I take the powerhead from the 03 and put it on a 2000?
Are other years compatible?
I thought we had this conversation before?? Drive shafts are the same, exhaust housings are the same water plate are the same, only thing different is the adapter plates and both of them will mount to the exhaust housing.
