We are newbies at the bass boat ownership so we're going to be asking a lot of questions. This 70 horsepower Yamaha two stroke does it have the ability to help generate and keep a charge on batteries kind a like an alternator in a car thanks in advance

Yes. I wouldn't count on it to do anything but keep up with graphs and pumps. Will not be able to recharge say a trolling motor battery. They just drawn to many amps. You can get more answers on the Yamaha page. Read the sticky at the top before posting. Probably going to need your serial number
