Got out to Clinton Lake today around 11 and fished till 5, only caught 4 fish but all were 13 inches long in about 18 inches of water. One was a male and was getting a little color but not much. Water temp was 51 when we started and 56 when we left, if our weatherman is right we should start seeing a lot of males scoping out a nest area. Should only get better now.
they were on the bank last Friday , didn't go last 2 days .. thinking about it tomorrow..
Most down here have spawned and moved back out a bit. It took me 3 hrs Thursday to figure that out before I finally picked up 4 before the wind sent me packing. Glad you got out.
