    Trolling motor support

    I have a 2006 - 196 and was looking to add a trolling motor support similar to the Troll Tamer that locks into place. Trouble is the trolling motor does not extend over the deck much to make that work. Has anyone found an alternative to this? Just trying to make what i have last, MotorGuide Digital.

    No it does not, I was a little concerned about having something like that resting on the top cap.

    In the past, I used the Rod Saver trolling motor strap and had good luck with it. I have the same problem with the layout on my 203.
