In my normal haunts on Wednesday, I found a lot of grass. Not exactly in the same locations but I could find it.
Seems like there's about one tenth of the grass there was last year. This rain won't help.
Plenty of grass around. Pre-emergent patches in 5' and less. It starts up in different areas each year dependant on water quality and sunlight penetration. Some stuff has grown a foot in the past 2 weeks.
There is grass in patches. Find a nice patch and work it for all it has. Seems a decent clump can hold multiple quality sized fish.
It's just delayed. It's coming up.

A large abundance of rain and flooding on the upper Potomac and it’s tributaries also plays a big roll in the grass growth in the spring. But the grass is definitely there. Just have to look for it.
