    Built a deck extension

    Built a deck extension on for my hd20. Pretty happy the way it came out besides it being slightly unlevel. It's bolted down to the front and side of the rod box. Used 1/2 plywood with 1x2s for legs and supports. Ordered a 6x10 piece of carpet and glued it down. So far it's holding up well and is really sturdy. Also cut a hole in the deck for the recessed trolling motor tray. For those wondering if the deck would be flimsy after cutting a hole through the middle support brass. It doesn't have any flex. Just wanted to share

    Good deal. Sounds like you did a real good job on it. If you can & when you can a picture of your handy-work would be nice. I bet it looks great.
