    When will there be a on the water running and walkthrough video of the 1980???

    right, give boating mag a boat, and let them run it, they cant be that back logged... they will do all the work for you and i doubt they have ever given a poor review

    I think the largest jackplate for the G2 would be 3" because it already has setback built into the motor for the power steering.

    The Moss Green boat has the Evinrude 150hp G2 with a 4 inch jackplate and a power pole.

    Understood but is that the model C150PHL Hydraulic steering version? I've been researching the Etec 150HO G2's and the power steering version I thought has max 3" jackplate if I'm not mistaken. Non power steering version can take more setback on the jackplate I think. Maybe someone with more Etec experience can comment. That orange boat with the 150HO EtecG2 is sharp. That's the one I have my eyes on. Just get a dealer in Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia or Mississippi. Build it and Iwill come.
