I am not an NRA member but I will not buy anymore yeti products and I will contact Cabelas and ask them to stop carrying yeti as well. Just my small part in preserving my 2nd amendment rights.

    I’m still using a Playmate six-pack cooler for drinks/snacks.
And an Igloo Marine for fishing and larger purposes.
However, I’m positive this won’t hurt Yeti, just the opposite.

I'm positive this won't help Yeti, just the opposite. Way more outdoors type people use their product than the other type of people. I hope it shows in their sales, in a big kind of way.

I bet this will actually help yeti sell more coolers. Their main market is millenials and soccer moms, not outdoorsmen.

Does this mean that the BBC rule is that we can't buy any products from companies that aren't partnered with the NRA?

It’s a privately held company, so upsetting shareholders isn’t a big deal to them.

    Except they are.

After a few phone calls, I have been unable to find Orca's position on the NRA.

Anybody know for sure? Please be quick, my beer is getting warm.

They probably stopped giving them free coolers to auction of at fundraisers, which translates to the public that they do not support them. Hell this post alone has several commenting that they would never buy one. YETI has had a flood of copy cats over the past couple of years that have no doubt cut into their bottom line. I'm going to withhold judgement until YETI makes a public statement.

Why can't they just be interested in sales. Anti gun people buy coolers too. Being on either side of a polarizing political issue isn't good for a company unless there product is directly tied to the politics. Obviously gun companies aren't likely to be publicly anti NRA even if they don't agree with something that is being done.

Reminds me of Micheal Jordan saying he avoided politics because Republicans buy shoes too.

How does that preserve your 2nd ammendment rights?
