    Intersting week

We Hit the mother load , caught 181 Big Slab Crappie between 12 - 15" in trips .. Then last Wednesday we watched a drunk fisherman fall down in His boat (he was ok), then another guy went feet straight in the air and landed in the water when he slipped on muddy bank ... Yesterday as we were coming in ,We see a older couple in the water, rushed down there and got Her in our boat ,then gathered up there stuff out of the water.. Helped them flip there boat back over and made sure they were ok... asked them 3 times if we could pull them to the ramp , and they said no... I sure would of felt better if they would of let Us pull them in. Best thing I could do was ask a guy that was just putting in, if He would check on them.. Oh by the way, the Crappie are on the bank.. (smile) can't wait to see what next week will bring (beers)

181? If you kept them. Do you have a possession limit in your state?

He is fine as long as it was over a few days or multiple licensed anglers helped too.

The limit for crappie here is 35 fish per person per day. When I was 9 or 10 my mom, dad, sister and I plus another family of four limited out for two days, that works out to 560 fish over two days. It's one of the reasons I don't like to clean fish anymore.

You can have 3 times the daily limit here in Kansas, we normally have 20 fish per day limits and 50 fish per day limits on lakes here. Couple guys in a boat on a 50 fish lake could have 300 fish on ice if they wanted too. On good days here it is not uncommon to catch 100 to 200 nice keepers for a day of fishing.

Just curious about the rules in other parts of the world. We have daily limits as well as possession limits. Why does my career matter in this?

Thanks for caring about others and great job on the crappie. My wife and I eat crappie and/or walleye once a week year around.

So using that thought process. I could harvest as many deer as I want? It doesn’t matter, as long as I eat them and have the appropriate freezer space?
