I have a 2014 vf250 LA SHO and I'm going to change the water pump due to my engine temp warning alarm set off, does anyone know what the lower unit weight is? I'm going to remove the stainless prop which should reduce the weight some.

Guessing 60-70lbs. Change them by myself quite a bit without removing prop. Tip it up to a comfortable height so you can stand up. The outboard will also take some of the weight as you are starting the bolt. It has to be tipped up enough for the driveshaft to clear anyway. CJ
