    SOMEONE LOST THEIR WHOPPER PLOPPER

Well, my German Shepherd puppy found it this morning. He had two hooks in him. One in his back leg and one in his belly, plus about 25 yards of line wrapped around his legs and body. I was able to cut the hooks and remove the barbed ends. We took him to the vet just to be sure he was OK. Mostly just stressed out. The owner of this Whopper Plopper can have it back for $35.

    Glad pup is all good.

If there is the possibility it floated from Lake St. Clair, it might be mine lol.

I found a Xrap on my lawn last summer. It appears that they missed my dock and got caught on my retaining wall. I’m glad my dogs didn’t get hooked.

Had a female dachshund try to eat an H&H Spinnerbait one time. The Vet had to do surgery to remove the hook from her throat.
There’s never been another lure on a rod/reel setup in the house since.
    Glad your pup is OK.

Thanks for all the replies. He has been stressed all day. Just got where he wanted to play with his mate. It was scary. I heard him screaming this morning at 6:30 AM. Found him in a ball, with fishing line tangled all around. Apparently he got a hook in his foot, pulled it out, and got hooked in his leg and his belly. Really close to the jewels. He is 5 1/2 months old, and the female is 7 months old. Here they are together.

Glad he is OK. I saw a dead Heron hanging upside down in a tree today. He was about 30 feet up a tree hanging by one leg and you could see the fishing line. Poor thing probably starved to death.
