My brother in law had someone crawl over his fence and steal his wallet/checkbook from his truck. This is out in the country where this crap doesn’t happen, well my sister posted info all over Facebook from Walmart where the thief had bought a tv with his credit card and someone finally recognized the scumbag.
Great post, the point of sharing it is to catch the guy.

So do you think its a good idea to share a video of human abuse such as rape? Those posts exist.
Just because you CAN share doesnt mean its in good taste or the proper exposure for society.
If you want to be a hero and "catch" someone theres better ways than sharing abuse for others to see. For example alert authorities and let them handle it.

Using this logic some scumbag doing kiddy porn vids you are going to share the vid with others in hope he gets ideed. That might get you in trouble as well.
Wouldn't just a screenshot of the perv suffice not the whole vid???

I un-friend anyone who thinks it's a good idea to circulate a video of dog abuse. Who in their right mind thinks thats a good video to share? Still cant get that video out of my mind. Im living in a world I cant understand.
They share so the word is spread and the guy is caught. Pretty simple

Hmmm well, I would think kiddy porn would be a few notches above animal abuse, but I suppose some would not see it that way. But yeah I sure a screenshot would suffice just fine if someone took one and posted it. The thread wasn’t about a screenshot though, it was in the form of a video. I guess we should all stick our heads in the sand and NOT try to catch scumbags.

TennTodd, you do realize that you can turn the auto video play feature off, right?

Dude, what part of this is so complicated for you? If you share a picture 10,000 times, odds are someone will know them. Now hopefully the person that knows them will contact the proper authorities. Are you seriously that much of a wimp and you have never seen a video of a rape posted anywheres.

Facebook is the devil... I have never been on it and I never will. There's already enough people know that what I do everyday I don't need to announce it to everyone nor do I care what everybody else is doing either

Facebook is what you make of it, if you want it to be evil, then it can be. If you want it to be a major fishing information page, then it can be that too and that’s what I use it for. I have many boat brand specific sites there bookmarked, lures for sale, boats for sale and boat restoration pages that I view.

I have an older friend that told me he’d never join because people go there to cheat on their spouses....yeah, like that doesn’t happen anywheres else in America. In his mind, nothing good happens on it. Some are just clueless about what good it has to offer.

A death sentence would prevent a lot of serious scum from getting worse. Killing animals just for pleasure, is just a step before doing it to people.

Closed my account today. I have to look at and read too many things that I object to. I can turn on my TV and listen to that 24/7 if I want to.

A friend of mine would be a close match. He also lost a good job because of a post on facebook!

Left The Face about 2 years ago when I got called by the HR department at my company. Seems I was “fishing on the clock”. They didn’t like it too much when I pointed out I was on vacation and they would have known that if they did their research. It dawned on me that even though I was friends with just a few work colleagues, someone clearly turned me in. Realized that the people I want to keep up with I actually talk to. So maybe I miss a deal on a product or something. No major loss to me.

Don’t understand the need for FB? I’ve concluded it’s for the insecure.

I must be a wimp...I have never seen a video of someone being raped....I was on facebook for years and also hit youtube frequently but I don't search for that kind of thing....
ITS hard not to admit that Social media has done some good to bring some justice to some real losers....The DNR uses social media to bust poachers pretty frequently.
