2002 Bear Trailer Wheel Upgrade 13" to 14". Can it be done?

Looking to upgrade and was wondering if anyone else has been able to do this? Also posted question on trailer and towing board.

    Thanks,

Do you have a pic of the trailer. Don’t believe I have ever seen a Bear trailer. But basically if you have 2” between the top of the tire to the underside of the fender. You should be okay with a 14” tire.

Generally speaking, going from 13" to 14" wheels is an easy upgrade. If you do find yourself a bit tight on fender clearance you could install the next higher rated leaf springs and gain back some clearance.

Could you add spacers to the fender. My old jet ski trailer had bolt-on fenders and we did a similar thing...to give us extra clearance we removed the fenders and added washers till we had the extra inch we needed. It worked perfect and cost us nothing.
