    TM interference with bow electronics.

    Just rebuilt my maxxum 80 lower unit. Every time I hit the pedal there is a spike on my HDS7. Just a quick spike. Not continuous. Is this normal?

    My trolling motor tech put some type of sleve over the brush wires in the motor housing to keep them from contacting the motor can, and that eliminated my interferance issues. You also want to make sure you route trolling motor wires on the opposite side of the transducer and graph power wires.

    Sleeves over the brush wires? That sounds like that could be the fix.
    Never heard of that. However, on 112's the brushes have a choke that they go though.
