    Vibration in marine master trailer

Ill do my best to keep it simple:
bout a 2013 triton from dealer In KY in january
got up to 60mph on 75 and noticed a terrible vibration
got off 75 noticed starboard rear tire had blown belts-walloped out tire
put the spare on and continued north
vibration still there but not nearly as bad 60-72 mph it vibrates-goes away at about 80mph
I limped home and had 4 new 8ply Carlisle put on-figured that would solve it
    -didn’t solve problem
whenever i get up to highway speed the vibration comes back-it comes and goes depending on speed and lane changes left to right

-getting gas yesterday i notice that same position tire looks like it may be wearing funny on inside (400 miles tops on new tires)

    bearings checked out ok-no play
thought about maybe having my tires balanced-haven’t done it just yet-my tire guy says they never really balance trailer tires but they’d do it for me if i want...

I’m thinking its an axle issue:
I measured both sides middle of the vault hub
port side distance between vaults is 32”
    starboard side is 31”
***on the port side there’s enough room between the top of the tire and the fender to get my hand in there
**on the starboard side I can barely get my index finger between tire and fender-its literally 1/2” from rubbing the top of the fender
its almost like that axle on starboard side is bent FORWARD and UP -so to speak

Axle doesn’t “look” bent to the human eye, but I cant really tell

maybe the u-bolts around the leaf springs allowed the axle to shift a little bit??

any advice where to start would help
    thanks a lot gang!

IMO---- get a new axle .. There not that expensive -- especially compared to the cost of what could happen !!!!

First thing would be to inspect brackets and mounting hardware. Maybe something has come loose or a weld has broken.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.

Based on the OP.. I had given credit for having done a thorough inspection
Never hurts to check again or get another set of eyes.

My advice would be to get in contact with the manufacture --- Find out for sure the exact axle if you can't ID it. Also see what there price is. It's possible you may find it local to save shipping.
Trailer Parts Super store has just about everything made and good prices. They also have a lot of DYI info available !! Good luck.

Where can you tow at 80 MPH? Are your tires rated for those speeds?

Vibration sounds like a Balance problem, especially at a certain speed.

I had this problem on my RT trailer and resolved it with Road Force Balancing. My truck has 22 inch wheels and low profile tires that I could never get to balance until I discovered Road Force Balance. Not always the solution, but may be worth considering.
This link gives a good explanation of the process.
BTW: The first two tire stores I called said it was a waste of money to balance trailer tires but it seemed so logical to me that I kept calling until I found someone that knew what they were talking about.

2013 axle was built by UFP/Dexter in Winchester, TN Marine Master should be able to get you another axle or you can call Dexter direct at 931-967-5101 and give them the axle serial number off the plate welded to the bottom of the axle. All axles have ID plates and they can build an exact match.

mine are rated for however fast my truck can pull at times.----- maybe 98 MPH that's' where the truck limiter is set.

    Well, there you go.

And my truck stops running at about 99 MPH.
