I am looking for a ramp close to Williamsburg, on the Chick. Anyone ever had any security issues at the Brickyard? Also is there a dock there to make it easy to launch/load solo? Thanks in advance.

I have launched out of there before. Ramp is ok but dock is off to the side and almost impossible to get on the dock at low tide. I perfer not to use that ramp.

That’s the main ramp I use when I go to the chick if I’m not fishing a tourney. It seems a little weird bc you feel like you’re launching on someone’s property but it’s fine. I’ve never had a problem.
And as Jinxbass mentioned, it’s very difficult to launch there by yourself if it’s low tide. The dock is off to the side and there’s nowhere to really park your boat while you park your truck. I learned this the hard way, but after I got Power Poles it made it much easier.

not very big can only hold about 5- 8 boats
