    With outboard manufacturers engine warranties based on years and not hours their product doesn't really get much use before the warranty is up, especially for us northern guys. Evinrudes 10 yr. warranty promo was a step in the right direction.

    Ran into the lake master charting guys at Lake Eufaula in okla last weekend,they had 6 or 7 tin boats with f series Yamaha’s and had 7,000 hrs each on average with no problems.

    Have been running it to 6k rpm every trip out since spring of 91.
    Boat and motor was sold new at a February boat show in 90, we bought it yr later.
