    Ever have a pair of thermostats go bad? 2004 Merc Racing 250xs

    S/N 0T819373

    Since I got it it never got over 105 idling . Water pressure was always low too...

    Cleaned Thermostats and same problem.. This year i wanted to be more pro-active a nd find out why it didn't ever heat up like it should..

    Well... with some help from Sanderson Marine in Chester VA... I replaced both thermostats and wow... it works now..

    Very strange to have them both go out but they did..

    Hope that can help someone else out sometime...

    Only had boat for 2 lol... motor probably has about 300ish hours..

    Yes, very easy to diagnose by checking for flow at the dump hoses.
