Hybrid Butt Seat

I just put this Butt Seat together for my bad back. I thought some here would be interested.

I got the "Butt Seat Back Brace" from Mosher Marine Llc



and put it on the Millennial fishing seat.









Some modification was necessary for the Mosher Marine Butt Seat Back Brace to fit nut it's a simple cut and two new holes drilled.

Nice thing about this seat is that I can sit in a variety of positions in order to ease the strain on my bad back.

I can straddle it scoot all the way back and rest against the back brace or scoot to the end and treat it like a butt seat.
I can sit sideways and treat it like an extra wide butt seat or lean on the back brace with one arm or the other.
I can also straddle it backwards and place both elbows on the back rest.

I can fish all day with this seat and if my back still barks at me I can pull this seat and put a regular
fishing seat in the pedestal.

I ordered this pedestal.

You'll need a couple of these if you go the same route as I did Attwood pin seat mounts

They also make mounts in stainless steel.

I've been able to get by w/just the Millenium™ Straddle seat. It also doesn't 'spin' when/if You back into it..
