    V20 with Atlas question

Ok V20 guys i have a question. If you have a atlas jackplate with the gauge what number are you running at. Today was the first time out this year and with the new jackplate. It ran great, 71.4 on number 8 with 3/4 tank of fuel, tournament load & my 235lbs. Holeshot was great too.

It changes for me depending on conditions but usually around 8-12 is ideal. I can only hit about 67 max with a tournament load, I've never had a problem with hole shot no matter what height it is at.

So I was on Lake St.Clair earlier this week and the boat did great. Full tank of fuel full tournament load and my buddy and she still has a good holeshot and ran 68 with the plate at 9 and 5700 rpms. Great ride in the rougher water too.
