Can a minn Kota maxxum 60 inch shaft be cut down
Hand of foot. Hand Yes, foot i don't recommend it. Easier to swap out the shaft. People on here will dispute me. If you cut a 60" shaft for a foot control then you have to drill an insert at the top of the shaft along with four screw hole to match the screw slots on the pinion gear. Everything has to be done precise or it will be misaligned and give problems.
