Just got a new Solix 10 Mega to replace my HDS 10. Couple of questions. Does the transducer that comes with the unit do 2D as well as SI and DI or do I need to buy an adapter to hook my universal transducer from my Minn Kota Ulterra?

The transducer has 2D, Si and DI

If you got the sonar GPS combo then just 2d with the transducer that comes with it. If it is the si unit then it will have 2d/ di/si transducer.
The unit you listed would be the 2 d unit but you can get a di transducer for it and it will have di capabilities. Or you can use the us2 transducer in the ulterra with the adapter

Either unit can be a MEGA DI model using the Dual Spectrum DI transducer.

Thank you for the replies. Mine is the Mega SI so it should do all the above. Now to decide where to mount the transducer. It came with a 20' cable so I will need an extension if I mount it on the transom since my Nitro is 21'. Otherwise I can get the trolling motor mount.
