    Question Top speed

    I have an 07 898 20 foot 7 in I decided to repower I'm going with a 200 optimax Pro Xs and going to put an 8 inch Jack Plate . What can you expect top speed wise 65 67 ?

    898 is a sled depending on what prop you can turn and get that thing on plane high 50's to low 60's would be possible.

    I have the same 898 with a 200 EFI AND the GPS SAID 68.7 mph with two people in a tournament.

    Straight from Bass Pro in Jan 2004.

    I have an 08 898 with a 225 Optimax, 6" plate and a 25 Fury. hit 70+ a time or two, but not my cup of tea to drive like that. Not sure if the boat is loose, or me. Mid 60's is easy.
