    Atlas Manual 6" Jackplate, anyone use them?

    I'm in the process of ordering a new 189 TRX. I had a 18XS with a Z style jackplate and had a horrible operating experience. I have alternate option to get a Atlas Manual Jackplate. I hope it's easier to operate because I refuse to use the Z style jackplate.

    cant get this jackplate ordering from Triton. I asked. That was my obvious choice. Hydraulic, not interested. Need a good alternative to slidemaster. Only two choices I have listed in this post. So seems T&H Marine my go to. I won’t use that Z brand jackplate.

    Your boat you should get the equipment that you want on it. If Triton won't put the Jackplate you want on it then have them ship it without a plate and the dealer can install. No way I would allow them to tell me what I can put on my new boat I would be looking for another brand.

    Bob’s Versa Jac? I had a CMC, pre T&H Marine, on an 18’ Skeeter aluminum and liked how simple it was. How about Vance?
