Best carpet for re-doing my Ranger?

I re-did my carpet about 6 yrs ago used 16oz carpet and it starting to look used if you know what I mean. I want to re-do it again this time I will use 20oz and want to know who sells the best carpet I'm going to contact Ranger to see what they say because I had a blue kinda mix carpet originally not a solid color like I used to replace it and it wore a lot better than this stuff? Does any one have any info for me?

Ranger 800-724-7273 have your RNG# Ranger should have your original color in 24oz.

I replaced in my 1990 363v carpet with Bass Cat 6 yrs. ago it was fine. Just ordered new 24oz. from Ranger it's better. Nothing bad about BCB, great people to deal with. Same with Ranger. Shout out to JP in Ranger parts.

I called Ranger this morning and they looked up my serial number and the blue/grey platinum is the only carpet they have from the older series that they still have ,I was thrilled and the price is right too, can't beat Ranger for parts or anything you need for an older boat . I use them every chance I get if I don't need something right away, from gas tank sending units to gas shocks for the compartments and so on great to deal with

24 oz? if it's an old boat you will have a bitch of a time getting the lids open. I had a guy buy his own, 24 oz it was. I told him his lids would be tight, he was bitching because they were to tight for him to open. You bought it, not my problem. Stick with 20, and you will be a happy camper, put some 1/4" foam under the deck carpet, you will love it.

Not really you can trim lightly with a beard trimmer and make the lids close nicely

And who wants to go through that bull shiat. It's quicker to put some padding under the carpet to gain some comfort than hours of dicking with every lid.

Well got the first section, the front deck done today and it looks great really glad I went back to the original carpet from Ranger. Doing it by myself and taking my time so it will come out right. I'll post pics when I have a chance ...

After putting new carpet on my 363V, I shaved sides of lids with Wahl clippers. It was one of the easiest parts of the re-carpet job. Took no time at all and worth using 24oz.

time is the most difficult part after removing the old carpet ,in between fishing tourneys and trying to get it done has been a challenge I have till the 26 of May then I have to use my boat in a tourney so will be able to get the back deck done by then, if it ever stops raining ...lol
