Looking at a 97' coral this weekend...

The boat is in great shape, from what I can see in the pics. Owner says he had the powerhead and lower unit replaced 2 years ago and has out about 35 hours on it since. Boat looks nice and clean.

Is there anything I should look for specifically on this boat?

They are well-built boats but they do have a wooden transom, so make sure it is solid. Most all Cobras/Corals have tube type trailers which tend to turn into rust buckets after awhile, and your trailer will be 20 years old. Check the trailer tubes for rust & thin areas.

It was a decent boat. Transom was solid, overall Ide say a 7 out of 10. Needed carpet redone and some tlc. But I passed on it.
