I don't have the 520, but I am running 24 4 on my Z521. Lose a little on top end, but holeshot is great even in high humidity season....

I'm in the midwest with a 2017 z520C, Pro XS 250, 8" atlas and no power poles.

I'm running a Fury 4 24p with all holes completely open (this is important).

With full gear, full livewells and 2 guys the holeshot is amazing, all around handling is amazing, and top speed is 70mph on a glass surface. I don't know what my RPM's are.

    I'm switching to a Fury 4 25p for a little more mph.

I have the same setup and added Chris Bailey Foil and it helped a bunch.
I’m still thinking and having Claxton rebuild my 25 fury into a 24 for better
    holeshot

Me either. Mr non C 520 is awesome with a 26P Bravo FS with a great holeshot and a top end of 74.1. I'd hate to drill the cav. plate for a foil. My opinion only....

Foil w/ your set up is the answer. I have your set up w/ 4, group 31 wet cells. 25P Fury 4. 71 w/ me alone, 68-69 w/ 2 clients and tooooooo much gear!

A 24 pitch whatever is not doing do anything on the performance, yes you turn more rpm's but not mph's at least run a 25 fury but you can turn a 26 fury just pop all plugs out if you want max performance your just going to have to adjust that manual plate just sticking a prop on there is not going to work when they hang those motors at the factory that's just what they do hang a motor so it's up to you to get the max performance and yes it is to be had on a Ranger just takes setup time........

I have the 15 version of your boat and my numbers are identical to yours. Went from 25 Fury 3 to a 24 Fury 4, great holeshot and 71 mph with two of us and all our stuff. 24 here to stay for me.

24 staying on mine also. never put a plug in a fury prop. 3 or 4 blade. im just saying the 24 fury is better on my boat than the 25 fury3 or 4. 24 has better holeshot and wot speed. atlas gauge at 12 for 24 and 25. 24 outperforms the 25 on my boat
