112 fortrex mount pivot bushing replacement

Any tips or advice on replacing the rear pivot bushings on the mount? The torx head screws are a bear and I couldn't get them to turn. I didn't want to force it too hard and strip it out or break the screws. Any tips would be appreciated.

Well i am afraid that comes with the Territory. Torx screws are made of harden metal and should not break, they may break. You may be able to get them off by applying heat. Don't use a torch. Used a paint stripper gun. You want to apply enough heat to break down the Lock tite. Are you sure t is not corrosion on the screw? If it is used some kind of solvent like WD-40 to soak into the threads.
T-30 torx should be used with a socket drive. I find it is much easier to remove.
