Hank Parker is the definition of a class act. He is sincere, straight forward and believable. The attributes that make him a good person are the same ones that make him a great spokesman for a family related industry like fishing. More power to him.

I agree! Simple fact: He fishes and hunts for a living. I don't and have not really had the opportunity to. So,I would say he is doing something right! He does take time to do a lot of good things for people that are having a rough time. Most people in his position don't do much of this.

Meh the competition was nothing compared to what it is today, I'd argue that Texoma win was pure luck

You've got to be kidding me??? Nobody wins a 3-4 day tournament against the best in the world by pure luck...anyone that wins does need a little luck though!
    At least we had 1987....

Still like the guy and find myself watching his show. Seems he donates a lot of time to charities too. Has had two cute wives too.

This is why he retired from fishing. I read somewhere he was making 300k a year in 1990 doing shows etc and only like 30k from fishing (numbers could be off but close) he’s making as most fishing today, off what he did the 80s

I aint picking on Hank.... He does more for Veterans and active military than anyone guy other there. ALL I am saying is he pushed his products so much more than he used to.
I like Hank and he is a GREAT guy..... BUT he is pushing products more than he is fishing!!!!
