Best setup for Triton 17 tx

Guys... been lurking here forever and have never posted so here goes. I just bought a 2015 Triton 17 tx with a Mercury 75 hp - no jack plate. Can anyone tell me the best setup regarding prop, motor height, etc.? Any other information you wish someone would have told when you bought your boat is welcome as well!!

Yup should be about the same setup as a RT178.

I have the same 75hp 4 stroke motor and same boat rt178 and run a X7 17p 4 blade in the third hole as someone else mentioned. Jacos is one of the best places to buy the prop

Update!!... got to take the boat out for the first time this past weekend. Hole shot was really good with a full tank and passenger. However, I could only get about 5,000 rpm on the tact because I couldn’t trim past neutral trim without the boat starting to porpoise bad. The motor is in the second hole from the top and the prop is an aluminum 4-blade 13 x 17p. Please forgive my ignorance, but if I raise the motor a hole will this help me get more rpm and be able to trim out a little more without porpoising? Thanks again for any help you guys can give me!!!

If you want performance, get rid of the aluminum prop and get a stainless. Do this first before moving the motor.

I don't have any experience with that set up but looks like
your getting some from the guys that do. Congrats on the new
boat. When I bought my first boat everyone said I would sell
it within a year. I kept it 19 years. Good luck getting it set up and
    enjoy.
