I just calibrated my ultrex and went to do the offset. It said 8* and I hit the set button. When I hit it it changed to 9*. Evertime I hit set it would change. Did it actually set it or is it supposed to give me a completed message? Thanks.

It's in the sensor manual page 11. you must follow this to the letter. the offset is important. It will give a complete message when it is correct.
Just get the motor head pointing as straight forward as you can get it, then do the offset. The number it gives you is just the number of degrees it detected it it was off from the heading puck. When it gives you the number, it is done. It can account for up to a 30 degree difference. Go fishing now
