    Quick question, transducer mounting

Broke off a transducer on the Potomac last weekend, need to redo things. Adding transducer shields, wanted to get a couple peoples thoughts on what sealant to use to get a good seal that will last.

This will be on an aluminum RT188

I'd seal up the holes and look at adding the Sternmate to aid in installation.

You talking about trolling motor transducer? I make an adapter that holds a broken off transducer on the trolling motor, simple and it works well, 15 trips or so on mine since, and it's still there.
