    Breaking through plateau?

Any advice on doing so? Down 45 so far but have hit a solid plateau at 230. Want to try and get down closer to 200. I don’t know if I need to go back to my strict calorie counting again or what. Just started running each day hoping it will help and been doing that for about two weeks.

Loosing 1lb of weight equals burning 3500 more calories than you take in.
Counting your cal’s would be the first step. Then changing what you are doing for exercise is the next. Running will get you in great cardio shape, but unless you are running for hours at a time at a high intensity , it doesn’t burn that many calories. You can burn the most calories per session by doing complex body movement weight training. Squats, deadlifts, kettlebell swings, dumbbell thrusters, burpees, push-ups, etc...
