    Stimulated the economy

Lol, not really. Selling this old mule for a good buddy whose dad bought this back in the 60s. Thought you might get a kick out of it. 1965 lone star with a 1957 rude. Motor and trolling motor both run. Pretty cool blast from the past! My friends dad passed away a few years back and this has been setting in his shop since.

Looks in great shape to be that old. The memories that boat holds for your friend. Sorry for your friends loss of his dad, even though it's been a few years I'm sure there's probably not a day goes by he doesn't think of him.

I expected someone to post a pic of their 100k Ranger or 80k Diesel truck to tow a bass boat!

I had a boat just like that and have some of my fondest memories in it!!

Somebody who lives on a lake with a flair for nostalgia would like to make a yard feature and planter out of that.

Loved the twin hoses on those old motors.

Most people would laugh at that boat but I would fish the hell out of it. Neat little rig.

The trailer looks a little overkill.

My buddy had a 14' Lone Star that we fished out of for a couple years. Nothing special but we always made it back to the dock.

Spent a lot of time fishing out of my grandad’s old Lone Star boat. Great memories.

14' Lonestar was my first rig. 1965 Merc. 20 hp pushed it around. At the time I had a large red Chow who loved to sit in the bow.
    GETFISHED !!!
