I know what I thought, and still think of, Barbara Bush. One of the most influential, and downright wonderful First Ladies ever.
Kind, generous, truly concerned for the wellbeing of others, and smart and forceful enough to accomplish the goals she set while her husband was President. She had a strong, positive influence on her husband, and her sons throughout their political lives.
The woman was beyond reproach as far as I’m concerned. And I’ve never seen anything to the contrary.
What has the Fresno professor accomplished in her life that would give license to judge Barbara Bush harshly?
