    Ruger American .450 Bushmaster Supressed

Finally received my stamp and was able to pick up the Silencerco Hybrid for my Ruger! Dramatically quiets the report over the factory muzzle brake, with really only the sonic crack being heard. Not uncomfortable at all.

Nice setup, Craig... That'd make a good hog rig.

It sure would. But no hogs near me. Using it for my deer rifle during regular gun season.

That is a sharp rig, That hybrid has my eye. How do you like it? have you put it on any other calibers to test sound reduction?

I know. We're fortunate that pigs are only a problem in about a four county area. (that I know of anyhow)

I have not, but now that you mention it I do need to acquire some new test equipment anyway.

Very nice. Cans are so much fun. I don't even shoot anything I own anymore that I don't have a can for. LOL

I got addicted to suppressors a few years ago when I bought my first GemTech. Since that time, I have started building my own using the ATF Form 1. They’re an interesting project. Especially when you combine handloaded subsonic ammo with them. It’s amazing how much sound reduction you can achieve.

    Stratdude,
I have been looking into building my own with form 1. I shot a homemade solvent trap and it was very quiet. How do the ones you make compare to factory cans?. My dad has a gsl and I'm not impressed.

I have one of those as well. Better half uses it for a deer rifle. It's hollywood quiet with 194 subs and an SDN-6.

Nice looking rifle Craig! If you ever thought Black Rifle Disease was bad, just wait until NFAids kicks in.

Suppressors are like Lays chips...you can't stop at just one.
